The societal problem that Carmyn solves: There were only 608,000 EVs sold in 2021, compared to 280 million CO2-emitting vehicles that are operating on U.S. roadways today. The question is, what is society doing to ‘decarbonize’ those 280,000,000 vehicles that are emitting CO2 into the atmosphere on a daily basis? Because it is going to take a long, long, long time for EVs/FCEVs to replace them. Carmyn decarbonizes those vehicles by building solar energy facilities in the communities that it serves. How it works: 1. Your car emits harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere each time you drive. 2. Carmyn calculates your emissions profile based on your fuel consumption. 3. Carmyn then takes an equal amount of CO2 out of the atmosphere on your behalf by building solar energy installations, which replace legacy energy plants that burn fossil fuels (emit CO2) to generate electricity. 4. Your car is now carbon neutral! An additional benefit of Carmyn for the collective community is that Carmyn’s solar energy installations provide clean, renewable electricity to the local grid, thereby powering residents’ homes and EVs. Did you know that only 5% of New England’s electricity came from wind & solar power in 2021? Thus, from a holistic point of view, Carmyn solves two societal problems given that Carmyn (1) decarbonizes gasoline-consuming vehicles and simultaneously (2) renders homes & EVs much more ‘greener’.
