Family Program: An Old Fashioned Breakfast

Wake up in 18thcentury Concord and learn to cook and prepare an authentic colonial breakfast with instructor and historian Laura Ziman on Sunday, June 9, 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Concord Museum. Laura Ziman will demonstrate how to make scones, biscuits, old-fashioned strawberry jam and home-made butter. Immerse yourselves in the daily lives of children and families and come away with a sense of lives lived long ago. Learn how children’s lives and routines have changed through time, and what still might be the same.

After the demonstration, families will be invited to sample scones and other treats and take away 18thcentury recipe samples. Members $10/$6 child; Non-members $16/$8 child. Recommended for all ages. Reserve tickets online www.concordmuseum.orgor call 978-369-9763 ext. 216.
