Concord Museum – Performance and Reception I Want to Go to Jail

Join us for a staged reading of I Want to Go to Jail, and original play by Pamela Swing, Ph.D. and Elizabeth Dabanka that transports you back to 1919, when suffragists grappled with unexpected obstacles in their quest to pass the suffrage amendment. The performance in period costumes by cast members from We Did It for You! Women’s Journey through History, is preceded by a reception featuring Saltbox Brewery and an action button making station. Rasmussen Education Center 6:00pm reception; 7:00pm performance; $10, $5 Members, by reservation. In partnership with the Women’s Suffrage Celebration Coalition of Massachusetts.
