A Conversation with Susan Ware – The history of how American women won the right to vote has too-oft been told as the tale of a few iconic leaders, all white and native born. In her new book, Why They Marched, Susan Ware uncovers a much more diverse story of the women worked to achieve their full citizenship. Join in a conversation between Susan Ware, Honorary Women’s Suffrage Historian at Radcliffe’s Schlesinger Library and historian Ellen Fitzpatrick. Co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters; Rasmussen Education Center.6:00pm wine and cheese reception; 7:00pm forum; $10, $5 Members, by reservation.
