Concord Museum – A Visit from President Lincoln

What better way to celebrate President’s Day then to meet one of our country’s greatest Presidents – Abraham Lincoln! On Monday, February 18ththe Concord Museum is pleased to again host Steve Wood and his entertaining performance of Abraham Lincoln from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the Franklin Lyceum. You’ll learn what President Lincoln sometimes secretly carried in his top hat and just how tall he really was! Wood’s first person historical interpretation includes stories of Lincoln’s early life, campaign debates, and the Civil War concluding with a stirring a rendition of the Gettysburg Address. This special event is recommended for both adults and children.

Tickets to the President Lincoln program also include complimentary admission to the Rasmussen Education Center. Following the performance kids will be invited to imagine what they would do if they were president and to vote for their favorite Concord Museum object.
