Concord Conservatory Presents The 25 Greatest Violinists of All Time

Join the Concord Conservatory of Music  online Saturday, March 27 from 10:00 – 11:00 am for the lecture, The 25 Greatest Violinists of All Time, presented by CCM violin faculty member Hyungjung Kim. The talk will introduce you to 25 exceptional violinists who have inspired other musicians with their playing. You’ll gain insight into their masterful work by viewing performance videos that highlight their playing characteristics.

Learning from these 25 master violinists and noting their contrasting styles gives us an understanding why they’ve made such an impact all around the world, some for centuries. Understanding their fundamental and advanced techniques helps developing musicians advance their own playing and performing abilities. Hyungjung says, “Studying master violinists helps students of all ages build a musician’s toolbox complete with strong and effective techniques, which allows the students to flourish.”

Listening to the best violin performances provides an essential learning tool, which is not limited to student violinists. All instrumentalists can benefit from this lecture—all instrumentalists welcome.

The Zoom link will be sent to registrants beforehand.
