Membership Information

Whether yours is a large or small business, membership in the Concord Chamber of Commerce is a wise investment. Membership helps you to become actively involved in your business community, easily meet potential customers, exchange ideas and business solutions with other professionals and keep informed on key issues in the community. Become part of an organization that is growing and changing to meet the needs of your business.

Member Support Services

Direct Member Referrals. We refer customer inquiries exclusively to Chamber members. Members also receive free listing in our annual business-to-business directory, which is distributed throughout the greater Concord area. On a daily basis the Chamber responds to calls and emails for visitor information and business referrals.

Business Advocacy. The Chamber participates in several local business advocacy groups and periodically meets with town officials to provide a voice on matters related to business issues within Concord. We support community fundraising events and planning activities to help sustain a vibrant business community.

Certificate of Origin. The Chamber provides members with the Certificate of Origin service. A Certificate of Origin (CO) is an important international trade document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment are wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country.

Visibility Portal

Social Media Coverage. We provide a free customized business directory on the Chamber’s website with links to member sites enhancing search engine optimization (SEO) so as to track referrals and to help drive business to Chamber members. Member news is an added feature on our website and Chamber news appears as a monthly column in the Concord Journal. In addition, we provide members with opportunities to work with local cable networks to highlight professional and operational activities.

Business Promotion. Through our Shop Locally campaign we remind people to shop, dine, and obtain professional services from Chamber members in Concord. In addition the Chamber sponsors the Gift of Concord certificate program, the Annual Dinner recognizing the Business Person of the Year, the Concord ArtWalk, West Concord Early Bird Shopping, and Sizzlin’ Summer Sidewalk Sales to promote local businesses.

Visitor Center Gateway. Our trained Visitor Center staff provides tours of Concord, distributes brochures for member locations, and directs visitors to member sites. Studies have demonstrated that tourism in Concord provides an economic benefit to the community and local businesses.

Calendar of Events. The Chamber’s on-line Calendar of Events is updated regularly to keep the local community and visitors current with all the latest happenings with our members and specific Chamber sponsored activities. Chamber news is a featured monthly column in the Concord Journal, which welcomes new members and highlights business news and events.

Making Business Connections

Networking Events. We offer Chamber members a variety of events to meet other local area professionals such as: Business After Hours, which are focused on connecting local business owners and representatives to help grow and expand opportunities across a broad range of professional activities; Business Seminars designed to provide members the opportunity to share information on topics such as human resource matters, health care, finance, and legal issues; and the Annual Dinner to celebrate with other businesses the benefits of working in Concord.

Member Privileges. Members receive discounted pricing for programs and events at participating business establishments. Each member receives a Chamber decal for easy recognition and confirmation as a Chamber member.

Like most local Chambers, the Concord Chamber of Commerce has no affiliation with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Our revenue is derived entirely from membership dues and fees from membership events, and we receive no government or external funding. We do not pay dues or contribute in any way to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and are an independent Chamber of Commerce serving Concord, MA.
